In July and August, Xindayang Shipbuilding faced multiple challenges including high temperatures, typhoons, and severe convective weather. With the core goal of “100% completion of key milestones,” the company delivered outstanding results through scientific scheduling and cross-departmental collaboration: a total of 14 key milestones were achieved, including the commencement of 5 vessels, docking/launching of 3 vessels, undocking/launching of 3 vessels, and delivery of 3 vessels—all with a 100% milestone completion rate. The average delivery time was 71.7 days ahead of the contractual schedule, with the NDY1282 vessel delivered 98 days early. By mid-August, a total of 20 vessels had been delivered, achieving 74.07% of the annual target (27 vessels), demonstrating the production system’s risk resilience and strong execution capabilities through concrete actions.
Facing multiple challenges such as summer heat, typhoons, severe convection, and heavy rainfall, Xindayang ensured key milestones through scientific scheduling: the /1294 vessels were launched ahead of schedule, achieving improvements in both production cycles and operational status. The /1269 vessel experienced an extended sea trial period due to typhoon disruptions, but through cross-departmental collaboration, it was delivered on time, mitigating the typhoon’s impact and fully validating the production system’s risk resistance and organizational resilience.
Currently, Xindayang is advancing with the overarching goal of “delivering 27 vessels,” continuously refining lean management: enhancing resource efficiency by detailing production granularity, rigorously enforcing milestone adherence to ensure plan execution, and driving digital upgrades to enable high-quality development. Moving forward, Xindayang will strive for even higher standards, delivering premium vessels to global clients and injecting strong momentum into achieving its annual objectives.
