Canada’s CSL Group has introduced the M/V CSL Flexvik, an 18,003 DWT hybrid /unloading vessel converted from a bulk carrier to support marine construction and aggregate logistics across Europe. Delivered from Poland’s Wulkan Shipyard in May 2025, the ship is fitted with electric excavators and a 45-meter discharge boom, enabling versatile cargo handling from fine sand to heavy rock armour. With multiple discharge options, including vessel-to-vessel transhipment, the Flexvik reduces port reliance and costs while supporting offshore energy and infrastructure projects. Originally built in 2012 and acquired by CSL in 2023 after running aground off Newfoundland, the vessel has been extensively rebuilt and modernized to provide maximum operational flexibility.
