7 Worldwide Logistics (7WL) Bremen project team has handled the deliveries of Gensets and other parts from Europe, China and India, to Saudi Arabia.
7WL Bremen has been involved in the delivery process from “Free Carrier” (FCA) Loading Ports in Europe, China, and India, for the last two months. The cargo is destined for the Red Sea Project, a property megaproject under construction since 2017, located in Tabuk province’s Red Sea coast, between Umluj and Al-Wajh. It will include hotels, residential properties, leisure facilities and entertainment ventures, and is being developed by Red Sea Global.
It is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program, aiming to develop luxury and ecotourism in the region. The Red Sea Project will be powered by a solar power plant, with battery storage backed up by the transported Gensets. As such, the scope of the order covers several different types of gensets. Each engine is optimised for use with climate-neutral B100 biofuel. This is part of the Red Sea Project’s goal to be fully carbon neutral.
