On June 18, CMES and DSICheld a deliveryandacceptance ceremonyin Dalian for New Valor, a 307,000DWTcrude oil carrier builtby DSIC.
“New Valor” is the fourth of sixnew generation energysaving and environmentprotectionVLCC built by DSICfor CMES, and the 23rd 300,000DWTVLCCdelivered by DSIC to CMES. After the New Valor puttinginto operation, the number of oil tankers of CMESwill reach 56. The New Valor has a range of more than 26,000 nautical miles and is capable of sailing around the world.
It is understood that the firstvoyage of New Valor may be loaded with refined oil product for export to Europe.
