The grain-laden ship was inspected by the ‘Joint Inspection Team’The first ship to ship within the framework of the “Safe Shipment of Grain and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian Ports Initiative” document signed between Turkey, Russian Federation, Ukraine and the United Nations, departed from Odessa Port of Ukraine on 1 August. The grain-laden ship Razoni, which set off from Odessa, was inspected by the “Joint Inspection Team”.The departure and course of the Sierra Leone-flagged dry cargo ship Razoni, carrying 27 thousand tons of corn, was instantly followed by the Joint Coordination Center established in Istanbul. The route followed during the ship’s departure, the humanitarian corridor it followed and the issues related to its control were carried out in line with the procedures and principles agreed at the Joint Coordination Center. The ship, which reached the Black Sea entrance of the Bosphorus at around 21.00 on August 2, anchored here at the location reserved for it. Today, the Joint Inspection Team departed from the Coastal Safety Pier at 10:00 to the area where the ship was located and carried out inspections on the ship. The dry cargo ship named Razoni set off again to deliver the grain to Lebanon after the inspection. The ship’s course for Lebanon continues as planned.
