The Norwegian owner of offshore support vessels, working in oil and gas and renewables sectors, has signed an agreement with VesselMan to deploy its software across its fleet
The Remøy Group subsidiary aims to be a digital front runner and implementing VesselMan is an important step towards this goal.
“VesselMan has provided us with a tool for project planning, cost control and analysis,” said Remøy Shipping chief financial officer Pål-Andreas Alnes.
“We have been using VesselMan for some time now and are very impressed with the possibilities offered by the solution,” he said. “The insights we get from VesselMan will form an important basis for our negotiations with shipyards and suppliers.”
VesselMan introduced version 2.0 of this software in November 2021, with an upgraded user interface and new features following feedback from clients in the offshore and passenger shipping sectors.
“We look forward to collaborating with a leading management company for offshore service vessels like Remøy Shipping,” said VesselMan chief communications officer Lene Normann Olsen. “With its complexity, Remøy Shipping can take full advantage of VesselMan`s solutions and achieve a good return of investment.”
