Van der Vlist continues port and transport activities for Windplan Groen

Must read

The Groot-Ammers based transport group, Van der Vlist, has been chosen to handle transportation related activities of Windplan Groen, which should supply Flevoland with 100% of its required electricity, thanks to 90 new, planned turbines.

The 90 wind turbines should generate about 1.9 billion kWh per year, which is as much electricity as is used in the entire province of Flevoland each year. Van der Vlist will carry out unloading, storage, shipping and road transport, for the first 45 wind turbines. Overall, the project involves the movement of more than 250 tower sections and 100 80-metre wind blades. They will be transported through the ports of Moerdijk, Amsterdam and Flevokust Port to their final destination.
