A new UK & Ireland role for Richard Twynam at Scenic Group
Scenic Group has appointed Richard Twynam as managing director UK and Ireland.
Twynam – who will officially take up his new position on October 31, 2022 – will oversee both the Scenic and Emerald Cruises brands. He joins from NASDAQ-listed healthcare business Prenetics, where he is currently managing director – Cruise and Travel Testing.
Twynam is well known in the UK travel industry and boasts a wealth of experience in the cruise sector, most notably for his role as UK managing director at Azamara Cruises. He has also headed up the cruise operation at Kuoni UK and was md at Virgin Holidays Cruises.

He will lead the Scenic Group UK team in Manchester.‘The group’s future growth plans are very exciting. I can’t wait toget started,’ he commented.
Scenic Group’s Anna Wolfsteiner, chief sales & marketing officer said the appointment of Twynam was a major coup for the company that would further strengthen its presence in the trade.
