On November 3, “Shanghai Jinjiang National Shipping Dalian – Japan routes openingceremony” was held in Dalian. It marks Jinjiang National Shipping’s Japan Kansai Route and Japan Kanto Route put into operation, which are jointly promoted by Liaoning Port Group and Shanghai International Port Group. It is also the first time for Liaoning Port Group to launch Japanese port express service.
Shanghai Jinjiang National Shipping, a subsidiary company of SIPG Group, is mainly engaged in domestic and foreign container transportation business. The operation of the new route can improve the direct route capacity between Dalian Port and Japan. At the same time, the new route also lays a good foundation for the two sides to further expand the cooperation in supply chain and logistics chain, and becomes a new practice for the two ports to work together to serve the revitalization and development of Northeast China and help build Dalian as a Northeast Asia international shipping center and logistics center.
Since the beginning of this year, relying on policy advantages such as RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) and China – Japan – ROK FTA, Liaoning Port Group has added 6 direct foreign trade routes to Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea this year.
