Pilot ladder broke when pilot was boarding general cargo ship CREST CRANE at night Nov 5 at Keelung Port, Taiwan, to take the ship out. Pilot fell into water but luckily, was quickly rescued by pilot boat and transferred to hospital, he’s safe. The ship took full responsibility for faulty ladder leading to accident, and will cover all the expenses. CREST CRANE remained in port, she’s bound for Kaohsiung.
