Crude oil tanker C Grace (IMO 9904065) diverted to
Bermuda on November 18th to transfer ashore a crew member suffering
from a medical condition. The vessel was en route from Singapore to Yum
Kaknaab, Mexico. It arrived in Bermuda waters on November 21st. The
33-year-old South Korean crew member was safely transferred by ambulance to hospital.
As of November 26th the vessel was underway enroute from Daesan,
South Korea, to Yuum Kaknaab, Mexico, ETA November 29th.

2021-built, Liberia-flagged, 160.061 gt C. Grace is owned
by Sho VLCC2 Shipholding SA care of manager SK Shipping Co Ltd-KRS of Seoul,
South Korea. It is entered with Britannia on behalf of Sho VLCC2 Shipholding
SA.

A man who went missing from cruise ship Carnival Valor (IMO 9236389) in the Gulf of Mexico was found and rescued 15 hours later on November
24th in what was described as a “Thanksgiving Day miracle”. He was spotted
in the sea, waving his arms, as the rescuers approached. After being picked up
he was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel at the New Orleans
Lakefront Airport. He had last been seen at a bar during the night of November
23rd. His sister reported him missing at noon on November 24th. The cruise ship
retraced its route before being released by the USCG and resuming its voyage
from New Orleans to Cozumel. An alert was raised at 14:30 and the USCG launched
an SAR operation. Another vessel spotted the man in the water, and an MH 60
Jayhawk helicopter rescued the man. As of November 26th the vessel
was underway off Puerto Moreles, Mexico, en route from Cozumel to Progreso
(both Mexico) ETA November 26th.
