General cargo ship HONG HE XING suffered engine failure on Dec 27 in Hwasun port, Jeju island, Korea, while maneuvering to berth. The ship was stopped short of breakwater by joint efforts of rescua boats and tug or tugs, and towed to berth. HONG HE XING arrived at Hwasun from Qinhuangdao, China, with cargo of wind turbine blades. She left Hwasun on Dec 28, bound for Qingdao.
