OSM Thome expands UniSea implementation

Must read

OSM Thome has agreed a deal to expand its use of UniSea’s digital systems, adopting the UniSea Inspections and Maindeck modules to support safety management and improve operational efficiency.

Already a UniSea customer, OSM Thome’s Offshore department will implement UniSea Inspections to streamline safety inspection processes and improve reporting, tracking and analysis across its operations.

“We selected UniSea Inspections because it provides us with a comprehensive yet user-friendly solution that aligns perfectly with our operations,” said Geir Rasmussen, HSEQ Manager at OSM Thome.

“The system’s ability to standardise inspection processes while offering flexibility for our specific requirements was a key factor in our decision.”

The cloud-based system allows users to conduct inspections offline, with automatic data syncing once connectivity is restored. Templates can be customised to specific vessel types, and the system integrates with the UniSea Audit module to allow inspection findings to be tracked through to resolution.

OSM Thome will also implement UniSea Maindeck, which integrates directly with the Inspections system to convert findings into work orders and support end-to-end workflow management.
