On July 23, the operational leasing vessel “PACIFIC HIBISCUS” of Zhejiang Shipping Singapore Company and China Huaxia Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. was delivered at CSSC Chengxi Shipyard Co., Ltd.
The “PACIFIC HIBISCUS” is a new-generation KAMSARMAX-type 82,000 DWT bulk carrier built by Huaxia Leasing and leased long-term to Zhejiang Shipping Singapore Company. It is the second newly built 82,000-ton vessel following the delivery of the “PACIFIC IRIS” last month. This vessel belongs to the fourth-generation KAMSARMAX-type 82,000 DWT bulk carrier, with significantly improved design standardization scope and shipbuilding modeling indicators compared to previous bulk carriers. It features environmental friendliness, excellent performance, high cargo capacity, and strong adaptability. The vessel has an overall length of 229 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 20.35 meters, and a design draft of 12.2 meters, with a service speed of 14 knots. It complies with the International Maritime Organization’s Tier III emission standards, is equipped with a high-pressure denitrification SCR system for the main engine, and has CCTV systems installed throughout the vessel to meet India’s latest requirements. It is classified by the China Classification Society.
The delivery of the “PACIFIC HIBISCUS” marks the addition of a new member to Zhejiang Shipping Group’s leasing fleet, further increasing its tonnage and optimizing the fleet’s age structure. It also expands the fleet’s vessel type layout and creates a favorable start for the company’s capacity development during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period.
