The Arab company Bahri denies transporting weapons for Israel

Must read

Following the recent ‘incident’ that occurred in Genoa – where, at the initiative of the USB and Filt CGIL unions, port workers prevented the loading of military material “destined for war scenarios” onto the ship Bahri Yanbu – the Saudi company Bahri Logistics issued a statement to dispel doubts that the recipient could have been Israeli.

A response to accusations that, in reality, had never been explicitly made by the aforementioned unions, who limited themselves, in expressing ethical discomfort over handling such cargo and concern for the safety of port workers, to a generic reference to Middle Eastern war scenarios and particularly to the ongoing extermination of Gaza’s inhabitants.

“In response to the false accusations and malicious rumors circulating in some media and on social media platforms, claiming that the company’s ships transport cargo bound for Israel, Bahri categorically denies these baseless claims. These accusations are completely false and unfounded,” stated Bahri, aligning perfectly with Riyadh’s official position (verbal condemnation of Israel). “The company operates strictly in line with the Kingdom’s declared and consistent policies in support of the Palestinian cause. It has never transported goods or shipments to Israel and has never been involved in such operations in any capacity.”
