Of the company’s 616 direct employees, 49% are under 50 years old
Yesterday, the board of directors of Spinelli Srl approved the 2024 sustainability report, the third reporting document published on a voluntary basis by the group which highlights, among the main aspects, the economic impact of the company’s activities which in 2024 distributed 154 million euros to the community (suppliers and employees in particular), equal to 89% of the economic value generated. The data on the destination of expenditure during the year was also highlighted, with 94% directed to local suppliers. The analysis of the report also shows that of 616 direct employees, 49% are under 50 years old.
Regarding the environmental commitment, four companies in the group are ISO 14001 certified, while the benefits from investments aimed at increasing the share of intermodal transport and lowering the impacts of road transport continue. The road transport fleet is fully renewed and powered by biofuel, supported by constant monitoring and driver training programs on eco-driving.
The document also presents data on workplace accidents, which in 2024 fell to a total of 14, five of which were during commuting, all minor, with a decrease of over -66% compared to the previous year.
