Zhongyuan Foreign Trade Connects SCO

Must read

People’s Daily Online, Zhengzhou, September 2 (Huo Yaping) On September 1, at the Zhengzhou Xinzheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Henan, trucks were entering and exiting in an orderly manner. Inside the warehouse, staff were skillfully conducting quality inspections, sorting, and storing products before dispatching and packaging them. Numerous cross-border e-commerce parcels gathered and were dispatched here, heading to all corners of the world.

With new flight routes continuously opening and the route network becoming increasingly dense, the Zhengzhou aviation port is expanding in volume and improving in quality, offering higher efficiency and better services to build bridges for economic and trade cooperation. As of the end of July this year, the cross-border e-commerce sector in the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone had completed approximately 150 million declarations for import and export orders, a year-on-year increase of 81.03%. Among these, cross-border e-commerce export orders exceeded 120 million, a year-on-year growth of 128.6%.

From Zhengzhou, “Made in China” products reach other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) through various means—direct rail, air, and land transport, as well as combined methods such as “air-rail-land-sea” multimodal transport. According to statistics from Zhengzhou Customs, in the first half of this year, Henan Province’s import and export volume with other SCO member states reached 45.62 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 59.7%.
