Subsea 7 awarded deal worth in excess of US$750M for EPCI work offshore Saudi Arabia
Subsea 7 announced the award of a major project valued at between US$750M and US$1.25Bn under a long-term agreement (LTA) with Aramco that relates to certain facilities located offshore Saudi Arabia.
Under the contract, Subsea 7 will undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of 106 km of infield and export pipelines, modification to existing topsides and associated hook-up activities. Offshore activities are scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
This latest deal between the two parties follows a contract awarded by Aramco to Subsea 7 under the LTA forthe decommissioning of existing subsea facilities as well as engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a new pipeline and subsea equipment at the Abu Safah field, located offshore Saudi Arabia. Offshore operations under the contract are due to begin in 2026.
