With gratitude to the team and with the memory of two important absent figures from the logistics sector, the Barcelona-based freight forwarding company E2E Logistics yesterday afternoon welcomed guests to the celebration of its tenth anniversary, held at the Vraba restaurant in the Catalan capital. In her speech, the company’s general director, Ainhoa Carrió, highlighted the company’s growth over this decade, recalling that, at the company’s start, the staff consisted of only three people. After thanking the work of Fernando Cucurull, chief executive officer of Cualde Logistics since 1999, who passed away five years ago, of whom Carrió stated “had an important weight in the creation of E2E,” she also did so for Sergi Cabrera, who passed away in 2022, and who served as the firm’s head of operations.
At an event that brought together more than a hundred people from the logistics, port, and maritime sectors of Barcelona, Carrió alluded to the company’s origins, of which “we maintain a clear vision to offer logistical solutions with a human, close, innovative, and environmentally respectful touch.”
On this ten-year journey, E2E has grown from three people to five on staff, opening offices in Madrid, Bilbao, and a year ago in the USA. The general director referred to the company name E2E, an acronym for the English ‘End to End’ as a symbol of its vocation to “guarantee the service of delivering the merchandise to the client.” It is a concept that identifies us to clients and differentiates us from competitors.” At the starting point of E2E Logistics’ 10 years, Carrió emphasized that “on the journey the destination is important, but the company [you keep] is even more so.” This is a journey that the company now wants to consolidate internationally.
