Kongsberg Maritime will supply equipment for Britoil’s new anchor handling vessel

Recently, Kongsberg Maritime of Norway announced the signing of a contract with Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard to supply the low-pressure hydraulic winch system for a newbuild series of 6+2 80-ton bollard pull anchor handling vessels for Britoil Offshore Services (Britoil).

Kongsberg Maritime is a leading supplier of advanced deck machinery solutions, focusing on meeting the demands of high-requirement offshore operations. The aforementioned winch system is scheduled for delivery between the second quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027 to support Britoil’s continued investment in high-performance, future-oriented anchor handling capabilities.

This project continues the collaboration between Kongsberg Maritime and Britoil, demonstrating the company’s strength in providing deck machinery solutions for complex offshore operations.
