The “MVNovelty” is of the Kamsarmax type, with a capacity of 82,066 dwt and a length of 229 meters. It is classed by the DNV classification society and flies the Liberian flag. The delivery and naming ceremony took place at the Nagasaki shipyard. It is the last of three sister ships, which were ordered in February 2023 by the same customers.
With the addition of this vessel to its fleet, the company now numbers 10 bulk carriers. In total, Sea Pioneer Shipping’s diversified fleet today includes 14 vessels (bulk carriers and tankers), while four additional vessels are under construction and are expected to be delivered by 2026.
