The event marked the beginning of a journey of knowledge and innovation for the students admitted to the program, where the following were presented:
The event was framed by greetings and presentations from the Commandant of the Hellenic Naval Academy Rear Admiral Stavros Karlatiras H.N., the program director associate professor Ioannis Lagoudis, the Dean of the Hellenic Naval Academy professor Georgios Galanis, as well as the member of the External Advisory Committee and president of the Association of Banking & Financial Executives of H.N., Giorgos Xiradakis.
The vidcast of the “Thought Leadership in Shipping” series was held under the auspices of the NAUS magazine, curated by journalists Panos Doukas and Nikos Doukas and cameraman Dionysis Paterakis. In the interview, the MSc graduates Rafaella Tyri (Queensway Navigation) and Stefanos Chartomatzidis (Prisma Electronics) shared their thoughts and answered questions from the journalism team as well as the public.
In attendance at the event were the instructors from the two academic institutions, external collaborators of the MSc, as well as executives from the shipping industry who consistently support it with scholarships and technical expertise. Among the companies and organizations are the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, Seanergy, Navarino, Prisma, Spectrumlabs, Rotary, DryDel, Harborlab, Danaos, and Moore.
