Shipping Industry News, French GEODIS International Group recently announced that it has strengthened its digital collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd by deploying a direct digital connection to exchange pricing and service data in real-time.

GEODIS stated that the core of this cooperation is to obtain Hapag-Lloyd’s data on pricing, surcharges, transit times, and services in real-time through an API. Thanks to this new integration, GEODIS can now access over 75% of Hapag-Lloyd’s pricing, surcharge, transit time, and service data in real-time, significantly reducing manual input and improving operational accuracy.

Jan Naumann, Global Head of Ocean Freight at GEODIS, said that this cooperation marks a critical step towards more efficient, intelligent, and transparent logistics processes.

Arne Zass, Head of Digital Business at Hapag-Lloyd, stated, “Hapag-Lloyd greatly appreciates the commitment and positive energy of the GEODIS team in jointly advancing innovative and sustainable logistics solutions.”
