The Port Authority of Marín has just put out to tender the works for the project ‘Improvement in the sustainability of the fishing docks and the fish market of the port of Marín: installation of photovoltaic self-consumption’. The port thus continues to execute European funds to carry out important improvement investments in the facilities of the fishing sector, such as the new fish market roof or the renewal of articulated pillars. This new project foresees the implementation of a photovoltaic installation on the fish market roof for the generation of electrical energy. The aim is to achieve a considerable improvement in energy efficiency and self-consumption, while also reducing atmospheric emissions.
