Fedespedi summit completed, three vice presidents appointed: Bartoli, Schisano and Somma

Must read

Milan – The new leadership of Fedespedi, the National Federation of International Shipping Companies, has been officially installed. President Alessandro Pitto has appointed three new vice presidents (Presidential Committee) and seven figures to lead the Advisory Bodies, the technical organs tasked with studying and analyzing, for the benefit of all member companies, critical issues, development factors, and thematic areas with the greatest impact on the activities of international shipping companies. The appointment took place during the last Board of Directors meeting, held in Milan at the Fedespedi headquarters.

A new structure that reflects the line of active involvement of member companies and represents a substantial renewal of the working groups: almost half of the members (43%) are in fact new appointments, and the female presence rises to 25% of the total – a figure that demonstrates Fedespedi’s attention to an increasingly inclusive representation. Another important factor is the broad territorial coverage: the members of the new Advisory Bodies come from 20 territorial associations, the local structures affiliated with Fedespedi that represent and support international shipping companies across the Italian territory.

“In a national and international context that continues to present complex and rapidly evolving challenges – comments President Alessandro Pitto – we aimed to build a group that expresses a working method based on participation, competence, and a spirit of service. I am proud and honored to lead this new team, which features a new generation of managers and entrepreneurs and confirms the growing interest of companies in being protagonists in the associative life. We will continue to work to foster cross-cutting collaboration and contamination between the different areas, enhancing the skills and vision of our members.”
