Naples- The extraordinary commissioner of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority, Andrea Annunziata, has resigned from his position effective October 7. After “four years of challenges and successes, the South returns to the center of port strategies” reads the letter of thanks and farewell.

“Thanks to the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini and the Deputy Minister Edoardo Rixi for the trust placed in me” – writes Annunziata – “The work done in these four years, in addition to achieving important results, has created all the prerequisites for outlining a bright future for the ports of Naples, Salerno and Castellammare di Stabia. The approval of the strategic planning document of the Adsp of the Central Tyrrhenian Sea and the three port master plans are essential tools to support the growth of these ports.

In particular with the interventions financed by the PNRR (with some construction sites closed ahead of schedule) and the works that are accompanying the ecological transition, in the coming years, the competitiveness of the ports of the System will increase even more.

As I had the opportunity to reiterate in my resignation letter to Minister Salvini, I am and remain available to accompany the transition of the new Governance starting from the handover to Doctor Eliseo Cuccaro to whom I extend my most sincere wishes for good work”.
