Pisa Fear on the afternoon of Friday, October 3 in Pisa, where around 2:45 PM a violent fire broke out on via Traversa, in the area of the Darsena Pisana. The flames involved a luxury yacht being fitted out inside a shipyard.
Fire brigade teams from Pisa and Livorno intervened promptly on the scene, using two tanker fire engines, a water tanker, and a ladder truck to extinguish the blaze. Thanks to the coordinated intervention, the fire was contained and extinguished before it could spread to other boats or structures.
After the extinguishing phase was concluded, the firefighters began cleanup operations and technical surveys to determine the causes of the fire, which are currently still unknown.
Law enforcement was also present at the scene of the incident, who secured the area and managed traffic. Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries.
