On the morning of October 8, 2025, Hetai Shipbuilding reached a significant production milestone as three new specialized squid jigging vessels, meticulously built for the pelagic fishery—the “Puyuan 87”, “Puyuan 88”, and “Puyuan 89″—successfully completed their launching ceremony. The smooth launching of these three sister ships marks a solid step forward for Hetai Shipbuilding in the field of constructing pelagic squid jigging vessels. The launching ceremony site was vibrant with colorful flags and a lively atmosphere, where company leaders, owner representatives, and the project supervision team jointly witnessed this important moment.
These three newly launched vessels were all designed and built to meet the high standards of modern pelagic operations, integrating efficient fishing, energy saving, environmental protection, and crew comfort. With an overall length of 59.5 meters and a beam of 8.5 meters, the ships are equipped with advanced squid jigging machines, ultra-low temperature freezing systems, and intelligent catch processing facilities.
