Overall operation worth 110 million dollars
Beijing – Cosco Shipping Ports has completed the acquisition of a 12.5% stake in Thai Laem Chabang Terminal and 30% in Hutchison Laem Chabang Terminal, for a total value of approximately 110 million dollars, according to reports from the law firm Hfw, advisor to the operation. The seller is Hutchison Port Holdings, a global terminal operator based in Hong Kong. Tlt and Hlt are the two main container terminals of the port of Laem Chabang, the main seaport of Thailand, which handles about 80% of the national container traffic.
