Copenhagen – The Danish marine fuel supplier Bunker One UK has acquired the assets of Quay Energy Solutions, an established British company active in the marine fuels sector.
The operation also includes the start of a new partnership with Par Petroleum, which will guarantee Bunker One national coverage in road bunkering, complementing the existing refueling activities via barges. According to the agreement, all Quay Energy personnel and related client contracts have been transferred to Bunker One, ensuring operational continuity with the same team.
Adam Russell, co-founder of Quay Energy Solutions, stated that the company has experienced rapid growth in recent years and expressed satisfaction with the results achieved starting from scratch. He considered the collaboration with a global brand like Bunker One an important opportunity for both entities, hoping for further expansion in the British maritime market.
Grant Foulger, managing director of Bunker One UK, also emphasized the benefits of integrating Quay Energy, highlighting the added value represented by the addition to the team of two highly experienced figures, who will contribute significantly to the company’s development in the United Kingdom.
