Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Deniz Ulaştırma İşletme Mühendisliği Mezunlar Derneği (KTÜ DUİM MD) signed an agreement for the installation of an innovative mobile application (iOS and Android) that will bring the maritime community together in a digital environment.
The said application is designed as a platform that will serve not only KTÜ DUİM graduates but also the entire maritime sector. Within the application, alongside an open section where our graduates and sector professionals can share information, stay informed about events, and access career opportunities; there will also be communication and interaction areas exclusive to our members.
In a statement made by KTÜ DUİM MD Board President Captain Orhan Kasap, the following expressions were included:
“In line with the evolving needs of the maritime sector, we aim to create a strong digital network for both our graduates and the entire maritime community. Thanks to this application, communication will become easier, information sharing faster, and solidarity stronger.
The new application is planned to be launched for users before the end of 2025, prior to the new year.
