Recently, the repair and capacity enhancement project for the storage yard behind Berth 1A in the Dagukou Port Area of the Lingang area within the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone was successfully completed and passed the final acceptance inspection. This marks a significant step forward for the port area in optimizing its logistics infrastructure and enhancing its cargo throughput capacity.

It is understood that, as an important component of the port-type national grain logistics hub and emergency reserve guarantee center constructed by Tianjin Lingang Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., this project has significantly improved the overall operational capacity of the storage yard through the efficient integration and reuse of idle land resources within the port area. The project involved constructing 65,000 square meters of new storage yard area, repairing 44,000 square meters of existing storage yard, and simultaneously building supporting structures such as a fire pump house (including a water reservoir) and a weighbridge house, with a total construction area of approximately 660 square meters. Furthermore, the project comprehensively upgraded the water supply and drainage, fire protection, electrical (power and lighting) systems, further strengthening the port area’s hardware foundation and providing solid support for subsequent efficient operations.

Upon completion, this project will become an important public logistics infrastructure facility within the Dagukou Port Area. It will greatly enhance the efficiency of cargo turnover in the port area, provide more convenient and reliable services for the import of raw materials and export of finished products for Lingang industries, effectively meet the logistics and transportation needs of enterprises in the hinterland, and promote the deep integration of the industrial and supply chains.
