Bibby Marine announced the completion of the 2025 charter contract for the Bibby WaveMaster 1 with its long-term client Total Energies Netherlands (TENL), supporting oil and gas offshore maintenance operations in the Dutch North Sea.

During the charter period, the vessel accommodated 9,193 passengers, facilitated 1,778 connections and 16,604 gangway transfers, and maintained an impeccable safety record, with zero incidents, highlighting the vessel’s reliability, its operational excellence, and the strength of the collaboration between Bibby Marine and TENL.

This year Eni Netherlands and Petrogas also utilized the vessel as part of this charter. Bibby Marine expressed its desire to have TENL as a partner on board again in 2026.

The Bibby WaveMaster 1 is a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) specifically designed to provide safe, comfortable, and efficient accommodation and transfer services to offshore platform personnel. Equipped with a motion-compensated gangway and dynamic positioning capabilities, the vessel has proven to be a robust solution for the maintenance of offshore wind farms and other energy structures in the demanding conditions of the North Sea.

Upon completion of the charter period, the Bibby WaveMaster 1 will be available to work during the boreal winter, offering flexible deployment options for offshore energy projects across Europe.
