AD Ports Group presented a new master plan titled Creating Human-AI Teams: The Master Plan for the Workforce of the Future, which outlines how the holding company is leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform port and logistics operations, increase efficiency, and enable scalable growth across its global network.

The program highlights the rise of AI systems with data management capabilities, autonomous digital coworkers that complement human talent by taking on repetitive, high-volume data, and predictive tasks.

This allows employees to focus on creativity, empathy, and strategic leadership. By integrating AI into its core operations, finance, human resources, and logistics, AD Ports Group is creating a human-AI hybrid workforce designed to achieve operational excellence and long-term competitiveness.

Mohamed Jamal-Eddine, Chief Information Officer of AD Ports Group, stated that “the workforce of the future will be defined by the synergy of humans and AI agents working side by side, each focused on their unique strengths. While the past decade drove digitalization and automation, the next decade belongs to agentic intelligence, AI that learns, adapts, and collaborates. This is not theory; it is already generating results for us and many organizations leveraging the potential of agentic intelligence to redefine how industries operate and grow.”

AD Ports Group has already implemented AI-powered agents in its different business areas, achieving tangible results. In operations, the Vessel Speed Optimizer aims to achieve fuel savings of around 3% while maintaining a 98% punctuality rate.

In the commercial sphere, the container balancing system will increase container utilization by up to 90%, reducing costs and boosting revenue. In personnel management, tools like the Smart Workforce Planner help reduce workforce scheduling and human resources processing times by over 90%, accelerating talent management and improving overall agility.

These implementations demonstrate the power of AI not only to enhance efficiency but also to enable scalable growth, ensuring that AD Ports Group remains resilient in the face of changing global trade dynamics, while promoting sustainability and meeting customer expectations.

Sultan Al Ghaithi, Chief Human Resources Officer of AD Ports Group, advanced that “the future of talent at AD Ports Group will be defined as much by the ability to collaborate with AI agents as by professional or technical skills. With AI already integrated into daily workflows, recruitment strategies are evolving towards hybrid human-AI collaboration. This is not a distant vision. Our plan for workforce transformation is clear: reshape the future of work through a powerful combination of human ingenuity and advanced AI capabilities.”

AD Ports Group emphasizes that this transformation does not seek to replace people, but to enhance their talent so they can perform more meaningful and strategic roles. Daily tasks will be optimized through AI, reducing the burden of manual analysis and allowing employees to focus on higher-value contributions, such as creative problem-solving, innovation, and relationship development.

To support this evolution, AD Ports Group offers comprehensive training programs, ensuring that human experience remains fundamental to the holding company’s growth, while talent and recruitment strategies are adapted to the opportunities offered by a human-AI collaborative model.
