The Port of San Antonio – through its concessionaires STI and DP World – moved 1,677,299 TEU during the period between January and October 2025. This result was 15% higher than in the same period of 2024, which recorded 1,456,989 TEU.
Meanwhile, in total cargo, 19,494,279 tons were reached, representing a 5% increase compared to the previous year, which recorded 18,638,725 tons.
The month of October stood out as the best of the year with 2,281,435 tons moved, reaching the annual record and consolidating the growth trend observed throughout 2025.
Furthermore, during the month, the performance of the concessionaire Puerto Panulque stood out, reaching a historic figure of 363,369 tons transferred, surpassing the previous records of this terminal that specializes in the unloading of solid bulk for human and animal consumption, especially grains for the baking industry and for poultry and swine farming.
For its part, vehicle unloading maintained its upward pace with 221,071 units transferred between January and October, 16% more than in 2024. Meanwhile, liquid bulk remained stable with 799,036 tons moved compared to 798,437 in 2024, while solid bulk registered a slight decrease of 3%, totaling 3,379,334 tons.
“During 2025, we have managed to maintain growth in the main cargo segments and respond to logistical challenges with coordinated management together with our concessionaires, workers, and the San Antonio Logistics Community. This performance reaffirms the position of Port San Antonio as a key hub for Chilean foreign trade and a port that continues to advance to meet future demands,” stated Ramón Castañeda, general manager of Port San Antonio.
