The car carrier Crystal Ace, from the shipping company MOL, moved to the Port of Coquimbo and unloaded a total of 183 rolling units at the facilities of the concessionaire Terminal Puerto Coquimbo.
The vessel was handled by Ian Taylor and arrived diverted from the Port of San Antonio, where it could not operate due to a lack of space, a source indicated.
The Crystal Ace, 199.9 meters in length and 32.26 meters in beam, arrived in Coquimbo on Thursday, November 13 at around 23:00 hours and carried out its operations over two shifts to leave that port during the afternoon of this Friday.
The MOL car carrier, which was delivered in 2012, is now heading to the Port of Callao, in Peru. Its estimated arrival date is November 18.
