The Captain’s Table 2025 Pitch Competition will air today on Splash live from Hong Kong.
This year will see the latest cohort of startups pitching live from 4pm Hong Kong time (8am GMT) to a global, in-person audience in Hong Kong and online.
The Captain’s Table is one of the leading global pitch competitions designed for startups in the maritime and logistics industry. It provides participating startups with an unparalleled opportunity to pitch their ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, comprised of industry leaders, venture capitalists and seasoned entrepreneurs. With their extensive knowledge, they will assess participants based on business viability, market potential, scalability, and impact.
This year’s seven finalists include three startups focused on decarbonisation, namely BioBright, Calcarea, and Enki Marine, as well as digital corrosion management specialist qualiTEAS, maritime safety firm Zeal, and Amphitrite, which focuses on route optimisation.
In addition to the $30,000 prize money for the winner, they will receive £25,000 worth of legal advice from long-term partner HFW and one finalist will also stand the chance to get up to $50,000 in follow-on investment from Portline Group.
