On November 21, 2025, the opening ceremony for the “Fangchenggang-Shunde New Port” container liner express route was held at Berth 406 in Fangchenggang, Guangxi, marking the addition of an efficient and convenient new logistics channel for the transportation of metal products between the two Guangxi provinces.
The vessel “Qiankun 03,” performing the maiden voyage, is expected to load 200 TEUs of cargo and proceed directly to Shunde New Port, with the entire journey taking less than 3 days. This route, utilizing point-to-point transportation, significantly reduces the transit time for goods, improving efficiency by more than 10 days compared to traditional transshipment models. It establishes a critical logistics node for local enterprises in Fangchenggang to expand into the Pearl River Delta and global markets.
