The Suape Complex received an institutional visit from Topsoe, a Danish company recognized worldwide for developing technologies in green hydrogen, e-fuels, and industrial decarbonization processes.
The agenda is one of the achievements of the Pernambuco Government’s official mission in Denmark, led by Governor Raquel Lyra, and reinforces the commitment to expand strategic partnerships with international players in the energy transition.
Representing Topsoe were Andre Luis Defaveri, General Manager for Brazil; Ana Duarte, Technical Services Engineer; and Vanessa Costa, Account Manager.
The group was received by the CEO of Suape, Armando Monteiro Bisneto, accompanied by the directors João Vitor Paiva (Legal), José Constantino (Port Development and Management), Renata Siqueira Loyo (Infrastructure) and Marcos Gesteira (Administration and Finance).
Also participating were employees such as Alexandre Cardoso (special advisor to the presidency for Strategic Affairs), Sóstenes Alcoforado (special advisor to the presidency for the Energy Transition), Fabiana Maranhão (internal auditor), Arthur Teixeira (Business Development coordinator) and João Vitor Holanda (legal coordinator).
Mariana Moreira, head of Institutional Relations for the Secretariat of Special Advisory to the Governor and Institutional Relations, also participated in the meeting.
“This approach broadens the prospects for cooperation, stimulates future investments, and reinforces Suape’s position as a national benchmark in port, logistics, and energy transition solutions. Under the leadership of Governor Raquel Lyra, the complex is advancing in initiatives related to sustainability and future technologies,” highlighted the general director of the state port company, Armando Bisneto.
“It has been a pleasure to get to know the Port of Suape and observe how the complex is preparing to receive projects aimed at the energy transition, with strong potential for green hydrogen, green ammonia, and e-methanol. Topsoe, as a licensor of decarbonization technologies, acts to serve its clients and support the structuring of the necessary conditions and infrastructure for the execution of these projects,” highlighted the general director of Topsoe for Brazil, André Defaveri.
