The Suape Complex received an institutional visit from Topsoe, a Danish company globally recognized for developing technologies in green hydrogen, e-fuels, and industrial decarbonization processes. The agenda is one of the outcomes of the Pernambuco State Government’s official mission to Denmark, led by Governor Raquel Lyra, and reinforces the commitment to expand strategic partnerships with international players in the energy transition.

Representing Topsoe were Andre Luis Defaveri (General Manager Brazil); Ana Duarte (Technical Services Engineer) and Vanessa Costa (Account Manager). The group was received by the CEO of Suape, Armando Monteiro Bisneto, accompanied by directors João Vitor Paiva (Legal), José Constantino (Port Development and Management), Renata Siqueira Loyo (Infrastructure) and Marcos Gesteira (Administration and Finance). Also participating were employees Alexandre Cardoso (Special Advisor to the Presidency for Strategic Affairs), Sóstenes Alcoforado (Special Advisor to the Presidency for Energy Transition), Fabiana Maranhão (Internal Auditor), Arthur Teixeira (Business Development Coordinator) and João Vitor Holanda (Legal Coordinator).

Mariana Moreira, Institutional Relations Manager of the Secretariat for Special Advisory to the Governor and Institutional Relations, also participated in the meeting.

“This rapprochement broadens prospects for cooperation, stimulates future investments, and reinforces Suape’s position as a national reference in port, logistical solutions, and those aligned with the energy transition. Under the leadership of Governor Raquel Lyra, the complex is advancing in initiatives connected to sustainability and future technologies,” highlighted the CEO of the state-owned port, Armando Bisneto.

“It was a pleasure to get to know the Port of Suape and observe how the complex is prepared to receive projects focused on the energy transition, with strong potential for green hydrogen, green ammonia, and e-methanol. Topsoe, as a licensor of decarbonization technologies, works to serve its clients and to support the structuring of the conditions and infrastructure necessary for the implementation of these projects,” emphasized the General Manager Brazil, André Defaveri.
