BEIJING, Nov. 25 (Reporter Qiu Chaoyi) — According to information from the Civil Aviation Administration of China: In October, China’s civil aviation domestic routes completed a passenger traffic volume of 60.845 million人次, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%; international routes completed a passenger traffic volume of 6.99 million人次, a year-on-year increase of 20.4%. In terms of air cargo, domestic routes completed a cargo and mail transportation volume of 518,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%; international routes completed a cargo and mail transportation volume of 399,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.0%.

In October, China’s civil aviation transportation scale showed good growth momentum, completing a total transportation turnover of 14.6 billion ton-kilometers, a passenger traffic volume of 67.835 million人次, and a cargo and mail transportation volume of 917,000 tons, representing year-on-year increases of 10.8%, 5.8%, and 13.4% respectively.
