Huaren Dadong Builds Spanish 22,000 Ton Lifting Capacity Floating Dock Naming

On November 26th, the naming ceremony for the 22,000-ton lifting capacity floating dock “HIDRAMAR ULTRA 22000”, built by China Resources Dadong for the Hidramar Group, was held. This marks the successful completion of a significant milestone for the project.

Attending the naming ceremony were Hidramar Group founder Ignacio Pérez, CFO and godmother Gara Socas; Manuel del Río from FEM Shipbrokers; Liu Wei, Deputy General Manager of Yachuan International; He Dongqing, CFO of Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM); Fleet Manager Ding Xudong; Wang Guzheng, Vice President, Eastern Region, Greater China, Lloyd’s Register; Chen Xuefeng, General Manager of Jiahua Design Company; and Li Gang, Deputy General Manager of Marketing at China Resources Dadong, among others.

At 9:30 AM, the naming ceremony officially commenced. Huang Haihua, General Manager of China Resources Dadong, and Jonathan Pérez, CEO of Hidramar Group, delivered speeches respectively.

Huang Haihua pointed out: “The naming of the ‘HIDRAMAR ULTRA 22000’ floating dock is the fruit of the sincere cooperation between China Resources Dadong and the Hidramar Group. From project planning and design, construction to its naming, it embodies the wisdom and hard work of everyone present here, achieving the outstanding result of completing the joining of over ten thousand tons of steel structure in just 26 days. It will carry the craftsmanship and aspirations of both parties, injecting core momentum into the scaled development of Hidramar Group’s ship repair and building business and the enhancement of its regional market leadership. It will become a benchmark project for deepening Sino-Spanish equipment manufacturing cooperation and jointly expanding the global maritime service landscape, writing a new chapter in the development of both enterprises!”

Jonathan Pérez stated: “The naming of this floating dock is a tribute to the teams who worked tirelessly, the engineers who solved complex challenges, and the technicians who paid attention to every detail. This floating dock will stand as a symbol of collaboration, innovation, and legacy, reminding us that when discipline, integrity, and vision converge, extraordinary things can be achieved. Hidramar will continue to uphold its core values, growing through strong alliances, and leaving an indelible mark on the marine industry.”

Jonathan Pérez expressed high recognition for China Resources Dadong’s construction capabilities and efficient project execution. He thanked the construction team and all partners for their demonstrated professionalism and steadfast commitment.

Witnessed by the distinguished guests, godmother Gara Socas cut the rope, triggering the traditional shattering of champagne, a chorus of firecrackers, and the ascent of colored smoke, wishing the “HIDRAMAR ULTRA 22000” safe future operations and prosperous endeavors.

The floating dock “HIDRAMAR ULTRA 22000” is scheduled for delivery in early February 2026 and will be put into operation in the Tenerife Islands, Spain.
