Alashankou Port, in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, handled over 7,000 China-Europe freight trains so far in 2025, following the departure of a convoy bound for Malaszewicze, Poland.

This year, the port’s customs has streamlined clearance procedures, which speeds up the movement of incoming and outgoing goods.

Furthermore, more and more products from the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta have been transported to the markets of Central Asia and Europe via the China-Europe freight rail service.

Currently, 128 China-Europe freight rail routes pass through this port, covering 27 Chinese provincial regions and reaching 21 countries, including Germany and Poland. These trains carry over 200 categories of goods, from vehicles and spare parts to clothing and electronic products.
