On November 28, the 8000-ton crude /product oil carrier, also equipped for fuel oil distribution, built by Chuandong Shipbuilding for Shihua Naity Ship Service, slowly departed from the dock under the tow of tugboats, marking the successful achievement of the towing milestone.

After the vessel was launched on September 28, Chuandong Shipbuilding meticulously planned and strictly managed, organizing employees to work overtime to accelerate the production schedule. Within just two months, they completed the installation and tightness testing for five liquid cargo tank special coatings, ballast tank painting, deck machinery load tests, generator and emergency generator mooring trials, main engine shaft alignment, engine room equipment wiring, deck cable laying, ballast water piping systems, deck thermal oil piping systems, fire-fighting piping systems, fresh water cooling piping systems, sea water cooling piping systems, and engine room fuel oil and lubricating oil piping systems. This made the vessel ready for towing and set a record for the shortest construction period for underwater work on similar types of ships.

The vessel has an overall length of 119.8 meters, a beam of 18.2 meters, a depth of 10.3 meters, and a structural draft of 7.4 meters. It is a single-engine, single-propeller, single-deck, stern-type ship design, suitable for navigation in domestic offshore areas and B-class ice zones. It is also designed for navigating the Yangtze River up to Nanjing, as well as the waters around the Xisha and Nansha Islands, serving as a crude /product oil carrier while also accommodating fuel oil supply operations.

The vessel is scheduled to be towed to Chengxi Equipment Dock in mid-December for off-site construction and delivery work. Chuandong Shipbuilding will closely follow the delivery assurance plan, strictly adhere to construction techniques and building processes, actively implement various measures, focus on safety, ensure quality, expedite the schedule, and solidly complete all tasks prior to delivery, striving to achieve the delivery target at an early date.
