The Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife approved the proposal to initiate the file for the contracting of the closure and conditioning works of the Ribera Wharf in the Port of Granadilla.

This is a strategic action for the development and consolidation of this port infrastructure, whose estimated value amounts to nearly 40 million euros, and which contemplates an execution period of 20 months.

The planned intervention will represent a decisive advance in the final configuration of the Port of Granadilla, as it will allow for the promotion of large-scale projects and favor the attraction of high value-added traffic.

In this context, the purpose of the contract is the construction of the closure of the Ribera Wharf, 543.31 meters in length, composed of 11 concrete caissons 48.25 meters in length, to which are added two submerged concrete closures, 5.78 meters long, located at the northeast and southwest ends. The project also includes the conditioning of the pavement.

Along with the approval of the file and the necessary technical, legal, and economic documentation for its processing, the Board of Directors has agreed to request the mandatory authorization from the Council of Ministers for the tender of the work.
