Yet another incident of a man falling into the sea at the port of Piraeus, the third within a week.
According to an announcement by the Hellenic Coast Guard, “in the early hours yesterday, the Port Authority of Tzelepi was informed of the presence of a man in the sea, at gate E8 of the port. The 28-year-old foreign national (Palestinian citizen) exited the water in good health, with the assistance of H.C.G.-H.R.R.F. personnel who rushed to the scene. He was subsequently transferred to the Coast Guard Station, where he was provided with clothing, while he himself stated that he did not wish to be transferred to a hospital”.
