Modula and MiR Robots have developed a fully automated solution for material handling in warehouses, production and distribution centers. The solution features several configurations and can fully or partially automate material handling processes.
Including semi-automatic single-item picking where an operator picks items from the storage unit and places them on the robot to be transported autonomously to a designated location, such as a consolidation center. Similarly, it also enables semi-automatic cart picking where the operator can pick multiple items and place them at a picking station. Once picking is complete, the robot hooks onto the station and moves it to the designated area.
