At 14:38 on May 7th, “AIDA Mediterranean” smoothly entered Dock No. 2 of Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, commencing a repair period of approximately 10 days.

“AIDA Mediterranean” has a total length of 293 meters, a beam of 32 meters, and a maximum passenger capacity of 2,680. Operated by China’s independent cruise brand “AIDA Cruises,” it is one of the brand’s main luxury cruise ships. The vessel integrates Mediterranean style with classical aesthetic design, earning the reputation as the “Ship of Art” and “Floating Palace at Sea.”

The main works for this dry-dock maintenance include: overhaul of key propulsion equipment, renewal of the hull’s silicone anti-fouling paint, and replacement of partial hull structures, aiming to comprehensively enhance the safety and durability of the vessel’s subsequent operations.

To ensure efficient project progress, Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry proactively coordinated resource allocation, actively liaised with port authorities and joint inspection units, and collaboratively optimized operational procedures. From docking scheduling to document processing, all links achieved seamless integration, fully demonstrating the company’s mature project organization capability and full-process service experience in the luxury cruise maintenance field.
