Chile Inland Services (CIS) incorporates Pacific International Lines (PIL) for its empty container business in central Chile.
Pedro Celis, general manager of CIS, explained that “PIL is one of the world’s leading container shipping companies and we have already begun receiving its first containers. This is a contract that reflects confidence in the professional work of CIS, where we will provide PIL with services in storage and repairs of empty containers, as well as delivery and reception of empty containers to the various importers and exporters.”
“We have developed a strategy focused on providing a first-class service, with good response times and a very high safety standard. We continue investing in increasing capacity for our clients both in the empty container depot and CFS cargo. We hope to continue growing hand in hand with our clients,” added Celis.
Juan Enrique Byers, general manager of PIL Chile, said that “CIS provides us with a service of excellence and high professional level, key to our business and our clients. We especially value this agreement between CIS and PIL, which reinforces our value proposition and contributes to the sustained development we have had during recent years in Chile.”
With this agreement, CIS seeks to deliver a first-class service, oriented to the specific needs of each client and to continuous improvement throughout the entire logistics chain.
