On May 11, the 63,600-ton series bulk carrier N1196 project built by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry successfully completed its sea trial mission and returned safely.
During the sea trial, the project team strictly followed the sea trial outline and plan arrangements, cooperated closely with the shipowner and classification surveyor, and orderly promoted and successfully completed all sea trial project handover work. According to actual measurements, all technical indicators of the ship met the specification requirements, receiving unanimous praise from the shipowner and classification surveyor representatives.
In the next stage, the project team will focus on key contents such as the demonstration of all ship equipment and the closure of post-sea trial punch list items, and make every effort to advance the follow-up work to ensure the smooth delivery of the vessel as scheduled.
